Welcome to Danbury Fair

Project Details: Rebecca applied to and won an RFP and call for art from the Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut to create and produce a large-scale exterior mural painted on stucco located outside of one of the Danbury Fair Mall’s entrances. Rebecca worked with fellow muralist, Marshall Okin of Art Etc, to complete and produce this project.

The goals of this mural design was to capture and celebrate the history of the Danbury Fair, which was held on these grounds from 1869-1981. Rebecca researched images from the Danbury Historical Society and incorporated them into the design in a fresh but timeless style.
